Lead Backend Engineer

An interesting startup with a ML based platform is looking to hire a strong Technical Lead Backend Engineer!

Location: Tel Aviv (near HaShalom train station)

Full time Hybrid job: 5 days a week. 3-4 days from office and the rest from home.

In this position you will be a key person responsible over, cutting edge, high throughput, low latency processing infrastructure for the company.

In this role you will play as a lead technical role for a group of backend engineers, responsible over a variety of micro services working with a a set of different technologies using mainly java but also python and node.js.

Technology experience and high communication and leading skills are key factors.

Your responsibilities include being hands on, conducting code, design review, collaborating with the product team and other teams and company members.

We’re looking for a candidate that is passionate about their job, highly motivated, and looking to be part of a cutting edge startup!

Technical Requirements:

  • 7+ years Java and Python experience is a must
  • Experience with spring/spring boot framework
  • Experience with Docker/K8s
  • Experience with Cloud Environments
  • Experience with networking
  • Experience with Relational DBs like Postgres

Experience with the following technologies is an advantage:

  • Kafka, Redis, ActiveMQ
  • NodeJs, Python
  • ML, Apache Flink , Spark
