VP Product
An interesting startup company in the Operational Cybersecurity field is seeking a VP Product to lead the Product team and drive the continued growth and evolution of the company. This is a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the CEO (a product leader himself) and VP R&D to define product vision, strategy, and execution.
Following several successful funding rounds and strong market traction, the company is now in a Growth stage, scaling its product capabilities, customer base, and global presence.
As the VP Product, you will lead a talented team Product Managers and Designers, oversee the full product lifecycle, and act as the voice of the customer.
Key Responsibilities
Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution, balancing 50% inbound (strategy, roadmap, feature definition) and 50% outbound (customer engagement, conferences, partner integrations, go-to-market alignment).
Lead, mentor, and scale the Product team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Collaborate closely with VP R&D and engineering squads to deliver cross-team features and capabilities.
Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop product presentations, feature rollouts, and integration strategies.
Engage directly with US-based enterprise customers, understanding their needs and shaping the customer journey in the product.
Represent the company at international conferences, customer meetings, and industry events.
Drive a data-driven, analytical approach to product decisions, ensuring business and strategic alignment.
Requirements
Proven previous experience as VP Product (or equivalent senior leadership role) reporting directly to a CEO - a must!
Background in Cybersecurity / IT infrastructure / SAAS products for Enterprise - a must!
Strong technical background - BSc in Computer Science or related field preferred; prior experience in software development is a strong advantage.
Track record of leading B2B SaaS products, ideally for enterprise markets.
Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate vision into execution.
Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English - native or professional level.
Experience working closely with global customers, particularly in the US.
Ability to travel internationally for customer meetings and events.
