About the Role

A leading startup company is looking for an experienced, hands-on, and strategically minded Director of Finance to lead our global financial operations end-to-end. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between strategic financial planning and day-to-day execution, serving as a business partner to executive leadership while driving rigorous accounting, internal controls, and scalable financial systems.

This role is designed for a proactive hands-on financial leader, who thrives on rolling up their sleeves to establish foundations, manage a team, and build scalable processes. For the right candidate, this position offers a direct growth path toward a VP Finance role as the company and team scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead budgeting, long-term forecasting, liquidity management, and financial modeling. Partner with CEO on fundraising, investor relations, board decks, and pricing strategy.

  • Own the global close process (US GAAP / ASC 606), statutory reporting, multi-entity tax compliance, and end-to-end management of external audits.

  • Oversee billing, AR/AP, payroll, and cash collection (reducing DSO). Own and automate workflows using NetSuite, Salesforce, Power BI, and modern AI tools.

  • Build, mentor, and manage the finance team.

Requirements

  • CPA (Israel) qualification – must.

  • 5+ years of progressive financial leadership/management experience in global, high-growth B2B SaaS / Technology companies (post-Big 4 audit firm experience) – must.

  • Proven track record combining hands-on controllership/accounting with FP&A, financial modeling, and cash flow management – must.

  • Deep expertise in US GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), multi-entity management, and international tax compliance.

  • Deep hands-on experience with NetSuite – must.

  • Experience working with Salesforce - big advantage

  • Native/Full professional fluency in written and spoken English – must.

  • Proven people management experience, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong balance of both high-level strategy and hands-on work and detailed execution.
